INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2023 | #EMBRACEEQUITY
What does International Women's Day mean to you? It's a time to celebrate and liberate the feminine.
What personal or career advice have you received that's been particularly valuable to you? Buy a camera and keep doing what you are doing.
What is the action or decision you've made that you're most proud of? Becoming a photographer and becoming a mother.
How can women better empower each other to succeed? Be kind to one another, boost each other's confidence and value each other. Women tend to be jealous and catty. It's the downfall of the female gender.
Why do you think diversity and inclusion in the workplace is so important? We are all humans walking on the same planet and have something great to offer. Cultural diversity will always bring the best ideas and understanding to the table. We can all learn from one another.
If you could have dinner with an inspirational woman, dead or alive, who would they be and why? Vivienne Westwood, the pioneer of punk. I love how she used fashion to inspire change and promote political causes - feminism and climate change. She pushed the boundaries. I think she would have been a fascinating dinner conversationalist. RIP.
